The main structure of a cutter suction dredger includes the hull,
cutter, suction pipe, pump body, and discharge pipe.
The cutter is a key component of a cutter suction dredger, usually
installed at the bow or side of the ship. By rotating
the cutter, the sediment at the bottom of the water is
crushed and mixed with water to form mud. The suction pipe
is used to suck mud into the pump body, which transports the
mud to the discharge area through the discharge pipe.
