Customizable Averaging Leveling Beam for Pavers with Ultrasonic
Probes
The ultrasonic balance beam is an important device used in asphalt
pavers, which can effectively improve the flatness of the paved
road surface.
Components:
It usually includes ultrasonic probes (sensors), controllers,
brackets and beams, connection cables, etc. Among them, the
ultrasonic probe is used to measure the distance from the road
surface to the probe and transmits the data to the controller; the
controller sends commands, receives and processes the data
collected by the probe, and judges the working state of the paver
based on the data, and then outputs the control signal to the
leveling hydraulic system of the paver; the bracket and the beam
are mechanical devices for installing the ultrasonic probe; the
connection cable is used to connect each component for signal
transmission.
Working principle:
The sensors (ultrasonic skids or probes) are combined through the
internal CAN bus network to detect different positions of the road
surface, intelligently screen and process the detected data, and
then transmit the processed data to the controller. The controller
judges the current working state of the paver accordingly and
outputs the corresponding control signal to the leveling hydraulic
system of the paver, thereby achieving the purpose of automatic
leveling.
