The MOC3023 is a high voltage, zero-crossing, optically isolated triac driver integrated circuit. It is designed to provide a high-voltage, high-current AC output from a low-voltage DC input. The device consists of a GaAs infrared LED which is optically coupled to a zero-crossing triac driver. The MOC3023 is ideal for applications such as AC motor speed control, lamp dimming, and power factor correction.
