WD-2 Universal Tool Grinder Wheel Dressing Machine

Description

This machine operates on the principle of the difference in materials and rotational speeds between the wheel being dressed and the dressing wheel to achieve the shape correction of the wheel being dressed.

The machine can simply and efficiently dress diamond grinding wheels, CBN grinding wheels, and multi-wheel sets. It can dress flat surfaces, angles, arcs, and form grinding wheels. The machine is simple to operate, highly accurate, and features the following:

1.Utilizes precision linear guides and ball screws, and is equipped with a digital readout (DRO) linear scale, allowing for real-time adjustment and measurement of positioning accuracy and width dimensions during dressing.

2.Both rotary axes use high-precision bearings to achieve high rotational accuracy and stability.

3.The rotational speed of the dressing wheel, left/right oscillation speed, oscillation stroke length, and wheel position are all adjustable.

4.The rotational speed of the wheel being dressed is adjustable, and its position is adjustable via a cross slide table.

5.The manual axes are equipped with a circular encoder (rotary encoder) for more convenient and accurate adjustment of the dressing wheel angle. Display resolution is 0.05°.

6.CCD camera system, with 15x to 80x magnification, allows for measurement and inspection of the grinding wheel's arc, angle, tip, and dimensions during the process.

7.The CCD and DRO encoder system provide simple setup and measurement of the grinding wheel’s width, position, and inspection during or after dressing. Measurement accuracy can reach 0.005–0.01mm.
