EPDM material

Ethylene-Propylene rubbers make up a family of synthetic elastomers characterized by excellent chemical

and thermal resistance. EPDM materials are most commonly used in applications involving solvents, acids,

brake fluids, and other aggressive chemicals. It is also known for its resistance to high temperature steam.

EPDM has very poor compatibility with most mineral and petroleum based oils and is seldom used in those

applications.
