Main characteristics of polypropylene fiber1. Polypropylene fiber has high strength, wear resistance, good elasticity and corrosion resistance Polypropylene fiber has high strength (same strength in dry/wet state), which can reach the strength of polyester, and is very suitable for making fishing nets and cables; it is wear-resistant and elastic, and its rebound rate is comparable to nylon, which is much higher than polyester. Polypropylene fiber has poor dyeing and hygroscopicity Polypropylene fiber has poor dyeing performance, light color and low color fastness. Ordinary fuels cannot dye it. Colored polypropylene fiber is mainly produced by pre-spinning coloring method. Fuel complexing agent can be mixed with original solution coloring and fiber modification before melt spinning. Polypropylene fiber has the worst dyeing and hygroscopicity of all chemical fibers, and has almost no hygroscopicity. Fine polypropylene fiber has strong wicking ability and removes absorbed water vapor through the capillaries in the fiber. The comfort performance of clothing is very good, and the best comfort is ultra-fine polypropylene fiber. The surface area becomes larger, the fabric can remove sweat faster, and the skin can maintain full comfort. This is also the reason why polypropylene fiber fabrics are easy to wash and dry quickly. 4. The heat resistance and aging resistance of polypropylene fiber are poor The raw material of polypropylene fiber is propylene, which has a low melting point and poor stability when affected by heat and light. Therefore, the aging and heat resistance of polypropylene fiber are poor. Try to avoid ironing to avoid deformation. Manufacturers generally add certain anti-aging agents during spinning to improve the anti-aging performance of polypropylene fiber. 5.
