A scrap shredder is a mechanical device used to shred and shred various waste materials. Working Principle

A scrap shredder primarily relies on the rotational motion of its blades to generate powerful shearing, squeezing, and tearing forces to shred waste.

• The core component of the device is the blades mounted on the main shaft. The motor, through a speed reducer, drives the main shaft at high speed, which in turn rotates the blades mounted on the main shaft.

• When waste enters the shredder chamber, the rotating blades interact with the stationary blades (if present) or the material itself, exerting shear and tearing forces on the waste. Simultaneously, the material is squeezed between the blades and the chamber walls, gradually breaking it into smaller pieces.

• For some tough or tangled waste materials, such as wire and plastic film, shredders use powerful torque and the cutting action of their blades to break them down into easily manageable pieces.

4. Wood: Scrap wood, wooden pallets, wooden furniture, and tree branches. After processing in a shredder, wood can be used in industries such as biomass power generation, wood-based panels, and papermaking.
5. Paper: Waste paper, cardboard, and cartons. Shredded paper facilitates subsequent recycling in papermaking.
6. Fiber: Fiber products such as used clothing, carpets, and non-woven fabrics. These waste materials can be shredded and reprocessed into fiber products or other products.
