Description

Differential pressure switch is used to monitor the pressure difference of neutral and slightly aggressive liquid and gases. It is applied to monitor pump status, boiler, flow, and filter condition. It will send the signal when the flow or pressure falls or rises to an alarm condition. The special design makes it easy for installation and adjusting the switching point.

Installation

• Make sure that the maximum pressure of DPS is higher than that of the pressure to be applied
• P1 is the high pressure side and P2 is the lower pressure side, it can't be fit reversely
• Make sure that the electrical supply is isolated before removing the cover
• Make sure the DPS electrical switch is of the correct rating
• Make sure the terminals are correctly connected and the DPS is correctly earthed
• Make sure the ambient and process temperature acting on the DPS should be within the -10 to 85℃
• Make sure that DPS is installed in a place with no vibration
• For monitoring the pressure of liquid, DPS has to be installed horizontally to make sure the accuracy of measurement will not be effected by gravity
• Make sure there has no sediments go into the sensor
• Make sure there are no valves between sensing points
• Adjusting switching point with the screw driver by the adjusting screw
• Test the whole system
