Explosion-proof Integrated Ultrasonic Level Meter >>Overview The instrument range refers to the maximum distance the instrument can measure. The mounting height TH must be less than this range. The instrument dead zone is the area near the probe where measurement is impossible. The distance between the highest liquid level and the probe must exceed the dead zone. For example, with a dead zone of 0.5 m, the distance from the highest liquid level to the probe must be greater than 0.5 m. Example: Range: 6 m, Dead zone: 0.45 m → Effective measurement range: 0 to 5.55 m. Signal emission from the probe is a divergent process (characterized by a beam angle). Installation must account for this angle to prevent the signal from striking protrusions on tank walls or channel edges. >>Technical Parameter
