Quality Control in Open-Die  Forging Processes

In the forging industry, quality control is the cornerstone of producing high-performance components that meet stringent mechanical, dimensional, and safety standards. Whether it is open-die forging for large custom components or closed-die forging for high-volume precision parts, maintaining consistent product quality requires a structured and well-monitored quality management system.

Open-Die Forging: Quality Control Focus

2. Thermal Monitoring

         Precise control of forging temperatures to avoid grain growth, cracking, or internal defects.

5. Dimensional Inspection    After forging, dimensions are checked using calipers, laser scanners, or 3D measuring arms for large parts, following CAD or drawing specifications.
