Description:

 

Polyethylene uniaxial plastic geogrid, namely HDPE UX plastic geogrid, polyethylene UX plastic geogrid,

 is a geogrid made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw material, through plasticized extrusion sheet, punching, heating and stretching.

Through stretching, the originally scattered chain molecules are redirected to a linear state, which fully

improves the tensile strength and rigidity of the geogrid. 

When the geogrid is laid in the soil, the bite and interlocking between the geogrid mesh and the soil form

an efficient stress transfer mechanism, so that the local load can be quickly and effectively diffused to

 a large area of ​​soil, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing local destructive stress and increasing

the service life of the project.

 

 

 

 

Advantages

 

The outstanding advantage is that it has little tendency to deform (creep) under long-term continuous load,

and its creep resistance is much better than that of geogrids made of other materials, which plays an important

role in improving the service life of the project.

 

 

Application :

Manufacturing process

 

It is made of high molecular polymers that are extruded into thin sheets, punched into regular meshes,and then

stretched longitudinally. In this process, the polymer is oriented linearly and forms an elongated elliptical mesh

 structure with uniform distribution and high node strength. This structure has a very high tensile strength and tensile modulus.

Unidirectional tensile geogrid is a high-strength geosynthetic material. Widely used in dams,

tunnels, docks, roads, railways, construction and other fields.
