Working Principle

During operation, both the bowl and screw conveyor rotate in the same direction at different speeds. The feed slurry enters the bowl via a central inlet pipe and is accelerated. Under centrifugal force, denser solids settle on the inner wall of the rotating bowl, while the screw conveyor continuously transports these solids to the discharge port. Meanwhile, clarified liquid flows out from the opposite end.
