Foam horizontal vertical combustion tester:
Scope of application:
Suitable for evaluating the horizontal combustion performance of
small foam samples with a density less than 250 kg/m³ as per ISO
845:1985, under small flame conditions in a laboratory setting.
Used for the determination and classification of HF-1, HF-2
vertical combustion, and HBF horizontal combustion.
Product features:
1.Microcontroller-based control with automatic timing reading and
real-time display of test-related time.
2.Horizontal sample clip with 90° retractable textile sample clip
(optional).
3.Bunsen burner features automatic ignition (ignition time
adjustable), and controllable automatic movement.
4.Equipped with U.S. Dwyer float meter, maximum range 100 ml.
5.Includes thermocouple support for burner temperature measurement,
providing a test temperature of 900℃.
6.Gas source requirements:Industrial methane gas (concentration
≥98%, calorific value (37±1) MJ/m³), requiring regulators and
pressure gauges to ensure uniform airflow.
7.Alternative gas sources: mixed gas with calorific value (37±1)
MJ/m³ or propane gas with calorific value (94±2) MJ/m³ (similar
results can be achieved). In case of disputes, industrial methane
gas is recommended.
8.Note: Gas source and connection fittings provided by the user.
