The CA168 equiped with G3-Power Line Carrier (PLC) communcation unit is able to interact and communicate with an AMR / AMI head-end server system (HES) for smart metering fucntions such as automatic meter readout, remote disconnect and reconnect meters, parameter settings, etc.  The meter is a one phase two wire , neutral missing operatable( optional) STS compliant prepayment meter, finished in a compact BS footprint mounting housing of IP54 protective rating and a surge arrestor sustaining up to 13kV lightening. It is used for a wide rang of metering applications in harsh and grid unstable environments.

The CA168 supports IEC compliant accuracy metrology and at the same time  DLMS/COSEM protocol compatible communication . The meter adopts power line carrier of G3 standard communication for data exchange and automated meter reading. It provides the utility users and service providers an efficient and low operational cost data collection and revenue protection tool.
