Granulated stonewool loose wool is manufactured from a mixture of natural rocks (basalt and dolomite) melted at high temperature to form a molten matrix, which is then passed through an air stream that cools the material and forms long fibrous strands.

Applications:

Granulated stonewool loose wool is widely used to fill the irregular spaces and apertures in thermal insulation structure, to spray onto steel structure buildings for fireproof and it is also the main material to manufacture the mineralwool acoustical ceiling panel.
