NQ Impregnated Diamond Reaming Shells

We mainly offer two types of diamond bits:

• Impregnated Diamond Reaming Shells(IMP R/M)
• Surface Set Diamond Reaming Shells(SS R/M)

These economical diamond-set reaming shells are available for use on most conventional and wireline core barrel assemblies of up to 152 mm (6 inches) in diameter. They are designed and manufactured to conform to the standard dimensional requirements for reaming shells used with all common core barrel types.

Reaming shell is used to couple the drill bit with the core barrel. It is suitable for use on all conventional and wireline core barrel. This product is mainly designed to ream the hole to the standard diameter. It can keep the stability of the core barrel. When the old bit is replaced by the new one, reaming shell can also provide sufficient clearance for the new bit. It can also help to resist the abrasion of the core barrel.

Diamond Reaming Shell is connected with a Bit to be used, and the drilling by Bit and grinding of side surface can be done simultaneously, but the drilled hole should be kept not smaller than the diameter of the Bit (Reaming).It should be used to prevent early wear and tear of the outer diameter of the Bit, and also to prevent vibration and deformation of the hole walls.As shown in the figures, it has a cylindrical shape, with diamond particles attached at outside diameter and touchable screws at both ends.Diamond Reaming Shells are produced with the outside diameter larger than that of the Bit.
