Descrition:

Pelton turbines are widely used in hydropower stations with water heads ranging from 80-1000m. Pelton turbine is composed of runner, turbine housing, nozzle assembly, intake pipe, deflector, etc. The runner is assembled in the shaft of the generator and transmits torque through ping. The kinetic energy of high-pressure water flow is used to rotate the runner and force the rotor to work. When rotating, the center line of the jet is in the same plane as the flow channel. Pelton hydraulic turbine has the advantages of compact structure, stable operation and simple operation. Generally, small Pelton turbines are always equipped with a horizontal shaft and one or two nozzles, while medium and large pelton turbines are most often equipped with a vertical shaft and four or six nozzles for greater power.
