modules with identical configuration, the form of primary and
secondary is formed. Under normal state, the host CPU is
responsible for processing program operation, I/O communication,
update the status and data of the standby CPU through the hot
standby module, and the standby machine monitors the running status
of the host. When the host machine fails, the standby machine will
switch immediately and become the host machine to replace the
processing work of the failed machine. Moreover, the switching time
is short and will not exceed a scanning cycle of PLC, so the logic
operation will not be affected.
