How to prevent oil leakage in sealing elements of a breaking hammer and the solution to it.

When oil leakage is found, we should first check whether there is anything wrong with the oil sealing area.

Situation No.1: there is nothing wrong with the sealing elements:

1.       Oil spills when it’s in low pressure, but doesn’t when in high pressure.

Reason: not enough roughness on surface of equipment.

Solution: improve the surface roughness up to 3.2~6.3 μm ry; or adopt seals that are of relatively lower rigidity.

2.       Oil ring in the rod grows bigger, and oil spills during travelling.

Reason: edge of dust seal scrapes oil slick;

Solution: Replace the module of dust seal

3.       Oil spills when it’s of low temperature, but doesn’t when of high temperature.

Reason: 1. eccentricity is too large; 2. material of seals is not suitable.

Solution: adopt cold-resistant seals
