Product description

Consumer product in its life cycle in two cases will be subjected to impact. One is the impact caused by collisions and jumps caused by vehicles walking on uphill roads or when people fall on the ground during transportation. Hand-held products (such as mobile phones) are more harmful to the product from the impact of falling without cushion protection. In the product design stage, the mechanical test can quickly verify the structural strength level, or determine whether the packaging material has an appropriate cushioning effect. The severity of the test depends on the waveform, G value, pulse time, and number of shocks.

In our daily life, the most frequently encountered shock waveforms are half sine, trapezoid and sawtooth waves. The test is mainly based on unpackaged products. Generally, three axes with six sides and three shocks per side are the main test requirements.
