Q1: What does the 990 Vibration Transmitter do?
It converts vibration signals from a 3300 NSv proximity probe into a standardized 4–20 mA

output proportionate to peak-to-peak vibration amplitude, serving as an input for machinery protection systems.

Q2: Is the Proximitor sensor external or built-in?
Built-in. No external Proximitor unit is needed.

Q3: What additional diagnostic outputs are available?
A non-isolated dynamic “PROX OUT” signal (via coaxial connector) is available for machinery diagnostics

 alongside the standard 4–20 mA signal.

Q4: Can it be calibrated in the field?
Yes. Non-interacting potentiometers for zero and span adjustments allow field calibration without cross-effect.
