The AB 1756-L61S ControlLogix controller module offers a scalable controller key that can handle many I/O points. You can set the ControlLogix controller into several slots of the ControlLogix I/O chassis and install numerous controllers in similar chassis. ControlLogix controllers are also capable of monitoring and controlling I/O across the ControlLogix backplane and above the network links. The ControlLogix 1756-L61S controllers have a rooted Ethernet port for direct connectivity to Ethernet-equipped devices as well as networks and they support communication interface modules in the local chassis.

To provide communication for ControlLogix 1756-L61S controllers, you need to install the suitable communication interface module in the local chassis. The ControlLogix 1756-L61S controller comes with a conformal coating. A conformal coating is nothing other than a fine coating with polymer sheets that provide a fine secured layer of protection against contaminants and pollutants as well as humidity and this will lead to the congregation and extension of the product life in harsh and corrosive environments.
