The AB 2098-DSD-HV150-SE is an Ultra3000-SE Positioning Drive designed for high voltage motion control applications and architecture. Its SERCOS interface provides Integrated Motion capability making it an efficient Kinetix Integrated Motion solution. It uses a fiber-optic SERCOS ring for its command interface. It is part of the family of high-performance and flexible Bulletin 2098 Ultra3000 Drive Systems that features a wide range of functions, power platforms, and connectivity options.

The 2098-DSD-HV150-SE Digital Servo Drive has a 400V class input voltage rated at 460V AC with 15 kW continuous output power and 24 A rms continuous output current. This 230-480V rms, 3-phase servo drive requires an external power supply rated between 12-24V for sufficient support and proper operation of the digital I/Os. It has an AC input frequency between 47-63 Hz and a main AC input current of 20 A (rms) nominal and 6 A (rms) maximum inrush. It uses node addresses 01-99 and it comes with communication rates of 4 and 8 Mbps.

If used for UL applications, the 2098-DSD-HV150-SE will need a class J LPJ-30SP and class CC KTK-R-30 Bussmann Fuses; including a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, Self-protected CMC with category number 140M-F8E-C45. When used for IEC applications, only the given circuit breaker is required.
