The AB 22D-D1P4N104 is a PowerFlex 40P drive with a B-size frame. The enclosure that protects it is a panel-mounted open NEMA IP20 enclosure. Its 3-phase input voltage is 480V AC at 50-60 Hz, and its output is 1.4A, 0.5 HP, and 0.4 kW. The 22D-D1P4N104 has no CE-compliant filter.

When servicing the 22D-D1P4N104 PowerFlex 40P drive, wait at least 3 minutes for its capacitors to discharge most of their voltage. The 22D-D1P4N104’s capacitors are high-voltage and they take time to discharge even when the power is switched off. The LED status indicators are not accurate predictors of safe levels of voltage in the capacitors, they only indicate whether the power is on or off. Also be sure to take precautions for Electrostatic Discharge or ESD. The 22D-D1P4N104 drive has components that are sensitive to ESD, which can damage these components or injure personnel.
