Product Details The AB 1769-L23-QBFC1B is a CompactLogix packaged controller. Ideal for serial connections, it has a total of 42 available channels, 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, 4 differential or single-ended analog inputs, 2 single-ended analog outputs, and 4 high-speed counters. LED status indicators let the users monitor the current state of the controller, power supply, module, network, link, RS-232 serial port, analog and digital I/O, and a high-speed counter. The 1769-L23-QBFC1B has an open-style enclosure and it can mount on a DIN rail or panel mount. It also comes with a 512 KB of user memory and it supports the following programming languages: ladder diagram, function block, structured text, and sequential function chart. This module has 3 total available tasks with 16 total programs or equipment phases per task and it is programmed and monitored using the RSLogix 5000 programming software. The 1769-L23-QBFC1B measures 4.13 x 9.82 x 4.65 inches and uses a 1768-BA battery, which is user-replaceable.
Features of the 1769-L23-QBFC1B controller include isolated and non-isolated serial connections, a capacity for expansion I/O, configurable embedded I/O, and network configuration and monitoring via RSLinx and RSNetWorx software. Two RS-232 ports in the controller allow operators to use an ASCII or DF1 protocol. Note that the users need to limit the length of the connected serial cable to 50 feet. The response time from OFF to ON is a maximum of 400 milliseconds and from ON to OFF is a maximum of 200 milliseconds. The 1769-L23-QBFC1B controller has input ranges of 10 to 30 Volts DC, +/-10 Volts, 0 to 0.5 Volts, 0 to 5.25 V, and 0 to 21 mA, while the output ranges are 24 Volts DC, +/- 10.4 Volts, and 0 to 21 mA. The voltage ratings of the module are 24 Volts DC sink/source, 10 to 30 Volts DC at 0 degrees Celsius, and 10 to 26.4 Volts DC at 60 degrees Celsius and its continuous isolation voltage from channel 0 to the system backplane, with no isolation between RS-232 channel 1 and system, is 30 Volts. It also comes with a power dissipation of 10.73 W and a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 to 95%. The controller has an operating vibration of 2 g, an operating shock of 30 g, and a non-operating shock of 50 g.
