Product Details

The IS200VTURH1B is a Primary Turbine Protection board designed by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is one of several gas/steam turbine management systems by GE released as part of the ‘Speedtronic’ line. The MKVI is built with TMR (triple modular redundant) architecture and has a connected HMI (human-machine interface) that allows users to access turbine data from a central location.

The IS200VTURH1B provides several functions, including monitoring induced shaft current/voltage (with alarming for excessive levels,) measuring turbine speed to generate the primary overspeed trip, and controlling the three primary overspeed trip relays, which belong to the TRPx terminal board. The board is also responsible for monitoring eight Geiger-Mueller flame detectors on gas turbine applications.
