The board identified as DS200SLCCG3AFG is a LAN (local area network) communication board. The card was manufactured by General Electric for their Mark V series of drive boards. A range of drives and exciters across the GE family are designed to have this card installed in its cabinet. When the card is installed in a drive it provides the necessary space for interfacing with available LAN network connections.

An integrated LAN control processor (LCP) is featured on the DS200SLCCG3AFG communication board. Any signals sent to the drive will be filtered using this component. Program memory for the device is stored in the two attachable EPROM memory cartridges on board. The LCP is also capable of interfacing with the host drive’s drive control board. The space for this data exchange is available in the dual ported RAM. Both isolated and nonisolated circuits are provided to the drive by the DS200SLCCG3AFG LAN communication card. System diagnostics and controls can be easily accessed using the device’s attachable alphanumeric keypad.
