Product Details

The IC200ERM001 is an Isolated Expansion Receiver Module designed by GE as part of the VersaMax series. When used in the PLC rack or I/O station, the IC200ERM001 module must be supplemented with an expansion transmitter module (ETM001). The IC200ERM001 is equipped with LEDs that indicate power status and status of the expansion bus. The backplane consumes 5V output maximum and has 3.3V output.

The IC200ERM001 has two female D-shell ports with 26 pins. The upper port receives the cable from the expansion transmitter, while the lower port is designed to daisy-chain the I/O bus cable to the next expansion rack or for the attachment of the terminator plug located on the last rack. Operational power for the module is derived from the installed power supply. If the expansion rack contains a power booster carrier and additional rack power, it must be connected to the identical source on the module.

The IC200ERM001 should be installed in the far left slot of the rack. The module must be attached to the DIN rail at the left end of the expansion rack. The rotary switch under the access door of the IC200ERM001 module is used when selecting the ID of the expansion rack. All I/O and communication modules can be used in expansion racks. When removing the module from the expansion rack, all power must be turned OFF.
