The GE Fanuc IC693ACC307 is an I/O Bus Terminator Plug. This component is shipped with every baseplate. This plug has a resistor pack, which is physically mounted inside of a connector. In any expansion system where several baseplates are cabled together, the I/O expansion bus must be correctly terminated. To do this, users can install the I/O Bus Terminator Plug in the last expansion baseplate – it can only be used in the last baseplate. If users are operating an expansion system with only one expansion baseplate, the I/O bus can be terminated by installing the 50 foot (15 meter) I/O Expansion cable as the last cable. This is part number IC693CBL302 or IC693CBL314. Both these cables have the termination resistors installed in the end, which enables connection to the expansion baseplate connector.
