Product Details The AB 1734-OB8S POINT Safety Output Module has solid-state outputs and comes in 2 series (A and B.) It has a dual-channel mode that will control any redundancy using 2 output signals. It comes with a 2-key switch position, 8 on the left and 2 in the right. The AB 1734-OB8S Series A module has 8 outputs per module and is a current sourcing type of module. The 1734-OB8S output point has a current of 1A at most. Its pulse width is 475 μs with a pulse period of 575 milliseconds. It has a maximum field capacitance limit per output of 950 nF. Its voltage drop reaches 0.165 Volts and it has a current leakage of 0.1 mA at most. The 1734-OB8S has short-circuited detection with a category of short, high, low, and cross-circuit fault detection. The short-circuit is electronically-protected and its output can aggregate a current of 8A.
