PRODUCT DETAILS The 16 digital outputs are arranged in two groups of 8 outputs each. The two groups are electrically isolated from each other. The outputs can be loaded with a rated current of 500 mA. Each group as a whole is electrically isolated from the rest of the device. The outputs employ semiconductors and are short circuit and overload-proof. The outputs are automatically switched off in case of overload or short-circuit. An overall error message indicates whether a short circuit or an overload has occurred on a output group. The overload is displayed by the red LED Ovl. and via error flags in the PLC. The red LED Ovl. goes out when the overloaded output is switched on again automatically.
