Product Description:
The IC697ACC624 is a rack fan assembly that offers two fans per assembly with extremely easy installation. The only tool needed for installation is a #2 Phillips head screwdriver. This particular rack fan can be used with either the 5-slot Series 90-70 racks or the 9-slot PACSystems RX7i racks. The IC697ACC624 fan assembly provides added rack cooling for installations that may have heat build-up as an issue. The low noise level will be a welcome addition to any full assembly as this is accomplished through the use of ball bearings for extended life. Per the manufacturer, it is recommended that the fans be wired to the same source of power as the PLC to ensure the fan is working when the PLC is active. Each of the two fans is wired in parallel through the use of a cable assembly. The cable assembly does come with the kit and plugs into the fan wiring connectors that are located on the back. Stripped ends can be used to connect to either a 120 or 240 VAC power adapter at the user’s choice.
