Product Description:
Independent of the selected operating mode, the
following features are valid: The pulses at the counter
input or the evaluated signals at tracks A and B in case of
connection of incremental
position sensors are counted. The maximum counting frequency
is 50 kHz. The counter uses the terminals 2 (E 62,00) and
3 (E 62,01) as fast inputs and, in one operating
mode, also the output terminal 46 (A 62,00). In order to
make all binary inputs and outputs available for other
purposes than counting, it is possible, to disable the 07
KT 97’s counting function.The counter can count upwards in all
operating modes, in some modes it also can count dounwards.
The counting range is from –32768 to +32767 or from 8000H
