Introduction Economisers also reduce the potential of thermal shock and strong water temperature fluctuations as the feed water enters the drum or waterwalls. Increasingly stringent environmental regulations limiting nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide emission can also affect economizer design. The gas-side heat transfer coefficient is much less than water side heat transfer coefficient. To compensate this, outer surface of the tubes may be finned to increase the surface area of heat transfer.The ultimate goal of economizer design is to achieve the necessary heat transfer at minimum cost. A key design criterion for economizer is maximum allowable flue gas velocity. Higher velocity provide better heat transfer and reduce capital cost.
Boiler economizers are heat exchange devices with finned tubes that heat a liquid, sometimes water, up to however sometimes doesn't exceed the boiling purpose of liquid. We can manufacture three types of boiler economizer, bare tube economizer, H finned tube economizer and spiral finned tube economizer. H-finned tube economizer is high efficient heat exchanger economizer which is consisted of H-finned tubes.

(1) The economizer is a steam generation system as like a boiler. when the exhaust gas discharge from the engine cylinder through the exhaust valve it goes to the boiler for generate steam by heating of water.
(2) After those gas it goes through the economizer the remaining exhaust gas temperature is heated the water in economiser. it help to generate steam, and it is improving the efficiency and save the fuel consumption
(3) An economizer uses the waste heat from the boiler exhaust, that would otherwise be lost to atmosphere to (in most cases) preheat the feed water into the boiler.This improves the boiler efficiency and reduces fuel costs.
