Device Briefing:

Flexible Lighting Cord Winding Tester meets requirements of Chapter 6.14 and Fig.3 of IEC60598-2-20:2002,GB7000.9-2008 standard;used for checking whether lighting string has enough mechanical strength.

Technical Parameters:

Repeat each of the following test 45 times for inspection on rigid lighting string’s qualification:

a ) 60N pulling force acting on the bottom of the pipe not all of a sudden for 1 min.

b ) 0.15N·m torque,acting on the bottom of the pipe at the most disadvantageous direction(optionally when questioned ) not all of a sudden for 1 min; (used with torsion device)

Soft lighting string’s qualification checki needs to have the following additional test after step a ) and b )

Test:act on 60N pulling force;wind the soft pipe onto a cylinder at a diameter of 250mm.Winding times and environmental temperature depend on:

— IP20 lighting string:25℃±5℃ ;10 times

— more than IP20 lighting string: 25℃±5℃ ;10 times

Then repeat 10 times ranging－15℃±5℃
