E27 Lampholder gauges | Gauge for Testing Protection Against Bulb-Neck Damage And For Testing Contact- Making in Lampholder E27-7006-21-5

Purpose: to check:

a) protection against bulb-neck damage by the rim of the E27 lampholder.

b) contacting-making in E27 lampholders with respect to lamps having dimensions adverse to contact making.

Testing:

a) when the gauge is fully screwed home with a torque of

- 1.0Nm* for ceramic holders,

- 0.4Nm* for all other holders,

there shall be a clearance** between the gauge and the edge of the rim of the lampholder.

b) in this position, and with the lampholder connected with test circuit as show, the indicator lamp shall light.

* an increase of these value is under consideration.

** a feeler gauge with an approximate thickness of 0,08mm and a width of 5mm shall be used to check that this clearance exists over the full circumference.
