Gabion baskets/gabion cage/gabion wall are available in a variety of different sizes. They come in 1/2 or 1 meter high, and 2, 3, or 4 meters long. There are several types and colors of rock available from common river type round rock, to multi-colored light and dark fractured rock.

4. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.

5. Wires of gabion basket can be classified into mesh wire, selvedge wire and tie wire. The selvedge wire is thicker than the other two wires.
