M3 Threaded Miniature Force Transducer With 10mm Diameter Tension
Compression Sensor
M3 Threaded Miniature Force Transducer With 10mm Diameter FLAE is
made of stainless steel utilizing strain gauge technology to
deliver maximum 0.2% non-linearity of rated output. Micro Tension
Compression Load Cell FLAE offers 0-1kg / 0-2kg / 0-5kg / 0-10kg /
0-20kg (0-10N / 0-20N / 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N) five rated capacities to choose from. M3 threaded holes located
on two sides of the transducer can be used to mount attachments or
implements to adapt to different force measurement cases, miniature
cylindrical load cell FLAE can be used for both tension and
compression force measurement. Stainless steel construction,
compact size, bidirectional force measurement, high accuracy, 10mm
diameter tension compression Load Cell FLAE offers a perfect
mixture for applications such as wire tension control, force
distribution analysis, automated control, touch screen click test, assembly force monitoring, spring testing, connector insertion and extraction force measurement and so on. In addition to the standard specifications, Forsentek is
also capable of providing custom design service to meet
requirements of different applications.

M3 Threaded Miniature Force Transducer With 10mm Diameter Tension
Compression Sensor
A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into
mV signal proportional to the applied force. The acting force causes
deformation of the measuring element, the bonded strain gage deforms
accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the
wheatstone bridge, under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally, thus the
load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Micro Force Sensor FLAE is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of Miniature Force Transducer FLAE is normally within
3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Miniature Tension Compression Sensor FLAE is
normally within -24mV...+24mV for tension/compression force
measurement.
Example one:Miniature traction/compression load cell FLAE-10N with
2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is
-10mV...+10mV.
Example two: M3 Threaded Compression And Traction Force Sensor
FLAE-20N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output
range is -20mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with miniature force transducer
FLAE to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Miniature Tension Compression Force Transducer
FLAE-100N working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage
relationship will be 0-100N compression load VS 0-10V output,0-100N
traction load VS 0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the
measurement error. When you get 5V output, it means the current
load is 50N compression force, when you get -1V output, it means
the current load is 10N tensile force, and so on.
Example two: Miniature Tension Compression Sensor FLAE-100N working
with 4-12-20mA amplifier,the Force-Current relationship will be
0-100N compression load VS 12-20mA output, 0-100N traction load VS
12-4mA output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error.
Namely 12mA output corresponds to “0” load, 12.8mA output
corresponds to 10N compressive load, 8mA output corresponds to 50N
tensile load, and so on.
