Miniature Traction Load Cell FSSM offers a compact design for a
variety of applications. the S Beam Load Cell series provides
accuracy, compact design features, and a wide capacity range from
1kg to 100kg to choose from.The mini load cell FSSM utilizes metal
foil strain gauge technology to deliver 2.0mV/V output with maximum
0.1% non-linearity of full scale,the compact design enables Micro
Force Sensor FSSM to be easily embedded into machinery or test
equipment – ideal for packaging machinery, assembly machinery or
end-of-line test equipment.The compression traction sensor FSSM
features threaded holes on two sides for the mounting of
attachments or implements,this micro force sensor can be used for
both tension and compression force measurement in applications with
limited space.You may find junior S beam load cell FSSM
interchangeable with FUTEK load cell LSB200, Mark Miniature Force
Sensors Series R04, flintec s-beam force sensor ISA, flintec load
cell ISB,etc..In addition to the standard specifications,model FSSM
can also be modified or customized to better fit clients'
applications.
A load cell is used to determine mass: The weight force exerted by
the sample is converted into an electrical signal by the load cell.
Load cells are therefore the most important components of an
electronic scale. One of the most widely used technologies is based
on strain gauge technology: an analog load cell consists of a
measuring element (so-called spring body) made of steel or
aluminum, on which strain gauges (Wheatstone bridge) are mounted,
strain gauges are electrical resistors that change their resistance
while loaded, these resistance change leads to the change of output
signal, the load/weight then can be measured and evaluated by
measuring the output signal from the wheatstone bridge.
Miniature Compression Traction Load Cell FSSM outputs mV signal
from the full wheatstone bridge which is proportional to the
applied load,a load cell amplifier can be used to convert mV signal
into -5-5V / 0-10V / 4-20mA for easy signal processing,taking
FSSM-50N and FSC(-10-10V)-24V for example,the load-voltage
relationship will be 0-50N compression force VS 0-10V output, 0-50N
traction force VS 0-(-10V) output.
