Introduction of printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) process flow

Surface mount technology: Sensitive components, some very small
components, such as resistors or diodes, are automatically placed
on the surface of a circuit board.This is called an SMD component
and is used for surface mount devices.Surface mount technology can
be applied to small size components and integrated circuits

Through hole technology: for components with leads or wires, they
must be mounted to the board through holes inserted into the
board.Additional lead sections must be soldered to the other side
of the board.This technology is suitable for PCB components
