Internally Illuminated Heliport Wind Cone Helipad Landing Lights obstruction light on top for aircraft warning
Compliance ICAO Annex 14 Volume ǁ Heliports 5.1.1 FAA AC 150/5390-2B Heliport Design Guide FAA 150_5345_27e FAA SPECIFICATION FOR WIND CONE ASSEMBLIES
A wind direction indicator shall be located so as to be visible
from aircraft in flight or on the movement area and in such a way as to be free from the effects of air
disturbances caused by nearby objects.
This specification covers fabric windsocks and their supporting structures used at airports and heliports to indicate surface wind conditions.
Features of Helipad Landing Lights
Power supply available in DC(12-48VDC) or AC(110-240VAC)
Pole is made of corrosion resistance and wind resistance stainless steel 304(SS316 is optional)
One obstruction light on top, one flood light for illumination
Pole height is customized(1meter, 2meter, 2.5m, 3m, 4m, 5m...)
Windsock color is: orange(Nylon), red/white(PVC)
Windsock dimension: Pole height:<4m, Length: 1.2m, big diameter: 300mm, small diameter: 150mm Pole height: 4m-6m, Length: 2.4m, big diameter: 600mm, small diameter: 300mm Pole height: >6m, Length: 3.6m, big diameter: 900mm, small diameter: 450mm
Other size is customized.
Frangible coupling is optional
Optional: 3 Metllaic cord for ground fixation at 120°space
Optional: Extra movable part of the base to be rotated to 90°to lower the windsock for maintenance
The wind direction indicator should be in the form of a truncated cone made of fabric and should have a length of not less than 3.6 m and a diameter, at the larger end, of not less than 0.9 m. It should be constructed so that it gives a clear indication of the direction of the surface wind and a general indication of the wind speed.
The colour or colours should be so selected as to make the wind
direction indicator clearly visible and understandable from a height of at least 300 m, having regard to background. Where
practicable, a single colour, preferably white or
orange, should be used. Where a combination of two colours is
required to give adequate conspicuity against changing
backgrounds, they should preferably be orange and white, red
and white, or black and white, and should be arranged in five
alternate bands, the first and last bands being the darker
colour.
