IC695PSD140 | GE Fanuc | Multipurpose Power Supply Modules Description of IC695PSD140 The GE Fanuc Emerson IC695PSD140 is a high-efficiency power supply
that delivers a power of 40 Watts. The IC695PSD140 supports an
input voltage range from 18 to 30 volts DC and delivers three (3)
different output voltages with different electrical powers: 3.3
Volts DC with an electrical power of 30 Watts, 5.1 Volts DC with an
electrical power of 30 Watts, and 24 Volts DC with an electrical
power of 10 Watts. The IC695PSD140 includes single fuse protection
and has four (4) LED status indicators and an on/off output switch
at the front side. This power supply supports an overcurrent of 7
Amperes on the 5 Volts DC output and an overcurrent of 10 Amperes
on the 3.3 Volts DC output. The IC695PSD140 terminals for ground,
±24V power, and MOV can be wired individually with 14 to 22 AWG
cable. Part number IC695PSD140 is an automation RX3i PacSystem manufactured by GE Fanuc. This device comes with four (4) different light-emitting diode (LED) indicators. The color of the LED that indicates power can be amber or green, while red is the color for the LED that indicates a power supply fault. The amber indicator is also used to indicate overload and over temperature errors. All of the LED Indicators are used to display the current status of the module. 24 volts DC, or direct current, is the current nominal voltage rating. Eighteen to thirty (18 to 30) volts direct current is the input voltage range on this module. 40 (forty) watts maximum is the output power rating on this module. Using all of its three (3) outputs, the IC695PSD140 can generate a maximum output rated power of forty (40) watts. However, isolation is not provided. This module should not be used with other power supply modules, such as the IC695PSD040 or the IC695PSA040. Also, it must not be used in the increased capacity mode, or the redundant mode. This device supports installation using the RX3i universal backplane. As stated before, the IC695PSD140 power supply module must not be used with either the IC695PSD040 or the IC695PSA040 power supply module. This is applicable for especially the increased capacity mode and the redundant mode. If users fail to comply with these requirements, they might end up causing serious damage to the module. The terminal current rating on this module is 6 amperes. 5.1 Volts Direct Current is the Output Current Rating for this module. Technical Specifications of IC695PSD140
