Screw Connector Termination Panel Module PLC 5 Allen Bradley 1771-HT

The 1771-HT termination panel module has been manufactured by AB/Rockwell Automation as part of the PLC 5 product line. The AB 1771-HT termination panel module is a simple controller module that is specially designed and intended for use with the AB IMC 12X series motion controllers. One termination panel is used for each servo controller module (SCM) when wiring the E-Stop string, feedback devices, drives, and the fast inputs and outputs, as well as the E-Stop, reset pushbutton. This termination panel is an option that offers a convenient way to connect and troubleshoot the IMC 120 system. Some of the main features of the 1771-HT module include D-shell connectors for cables from the servo controller as well as resolver excitation modules. It also features pluggable screw type connectors for wiring to the user devices.

The AB 1771-HT termination panel comes with fast I/O LEDs that indicate the status of the 4 fast inputs labeled from FI1 to FI4 and the fast outputs FO1 to FO4. It features a socketed onboard relay for the E-stop functions that provide relay contacts to allow the drives and the users to daisy-chain connect up to 3 servo controllers onto one E-Stop string. Additionally, there are separate pluggable connectors provided for the encoders as well as resolvers to enable the users to use the termination panel in resolver or encoder systems. When using the 1771-HT termination module option, all the user connections except for the RS-232 communication port and the user side power is routed via the termination panel. All the connections are designated on the board.
