About IC693ACC300
The IC693ACC300 input simulator module is designed for use with
programmable logic controllers or PLCs from Series 90-30, and this
series is produced by GE Fanuc. Series 90-30 offers a variety of
different industrial components for PLCs that are used for
industrial applications that require the best performance and high
levels of reliability. The IC693ACC300 input simulator module is
equipped with miniature toggle switches labelled from A1 to A8 and
from B1 to B8. The switches have 2 positions and they each include
a corresponding green LED that is turned on if the corresponding
switches are set to "ON." These LEDs are turned off if the
corresponding switches are set to "OFF." All the switches are
placed at the front of the module. This GE Fanuc input simulator
module allow the users to program the switches to operate as
discrete input devices and is usually used for the simulation of
the operation of actual inputs.
The GE Fanuc IC693ACC300 input simulator module can be very
important when the users need to develop or troubleshoot a PLC. The
unit can supply 8 or 16 points or conditional input contacts in
order to achieve manual control over the supported output devices.
The unit is made for operation on DC voltage and it has an output
voltage range of 18 to 30 Volts DC. The IC693ACC300 input simulator
module has a weight of 0.23 kilogram (0.5 pounds) and it has a
moderate tolerance to shock and vibration. The relative humidity of
the module ranges from 5 to 95% (non-condensing) while its
operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to
131 degrees Fahrenheit). According to manufacturer’s technical
data, the unit can be stored safely in a temperature range of -40
to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
The GE Fanuc IC693ACC300 is an Input Simulator module for the Series
90-30 Programmable Logic Controller. This module has 16 two-position switches, which are located on the
front of the module. The user is able to program each switch as a
discrete input device. They may also use the IC693ACC300 to simulate other 8 point or 16
point input modules. To configure the ACC300 module, locate the switch at the rear of
the unit. This enables configuration for 8 points or 16, as per the
needs of the user application. No field connections are required by this module.
As the input simulator can be used as a substitute for actual
inputs, it proves to be a very valuable component, especially when
developing programs or troubleshooting. The simulator can be used as an input while the user works on
programs or debugging issues. Furthermore, by leaving it in the system on a permanent basis, the
simulator module can supply 8 or 16 conditional input contacts.
These can be used by the operator to exercise manual control over
the various output devices.
Each switch on the module has a corresponding green LED. This turns
on whenever the switch is set to ON. Likewise, the LED turns off if
the switch is set to OFF. Like many similar devices from GE Fanuc,
these LEDs are arranged in two separate rows of eight. The top row
represents the status of switches A1 through A8 while the bottom
row if for switches B1 through B8. The input simulator module is a
versatile component that functions in the Series 90-30 PLC system. Users can install the module in any I/O slot of a 5-slot baseplate
or a 10-slot baseplate.
