Stair treads is a kind of useage of steel grating, usually we have two methods to fasten the stair treads: by welding or clamps. Thus according to different fixing methods, the stair treads is classified to 6 types. (See the pic below for reference)And among them, T1 and T4 are most popular one.

T1 TYPE

Stair Treads using common, ordinary steel flat bar to make and close ended system, not welding pattern guard board and antislipstrip, not welding installed side plate and checkered plate, its simple structure. When using it, we only need to weld it on the steel beam, it is very simple,economic and practical, and such stair tread is widely used in the smaller project .

T2 TYPE

Using common steel welding production, both ends of the stair tread are banded with side plates, On each plate, there is 14 mm in diameter round hole and a long round hole. The side plate chamfering for easy installation. Production is completed need to punch on the steel beam then with bolt to install. This type is used more widely, features: removable and use again.

T3 TYPE

This type of stair treads is the most widely used. The front end welding pattern plate protect nosing, and plays the beautiful, prevent slippery, wear resistance role. When installation, the way by welding installation, simple and saving time. With the checkered plate covering the sharp edges and corners, avoid the slippery to knock against caused serious damage.

T4 TYPE

T4 stair tread owns the T2 bolt installation advantages and T3 beautiful safe advantages. Since it can be with bolts installation, facilitate disassembling ; The decorative pattern and welding plate protect nosing, beautify and security two not mistake. Reuse efficiency is high, set the advantages of the above several types, so the price in the series is also the highest.

T5 TYPE

T5 stair tread is using belt ditch shape steel make protect nosing instead of decorative pattern plate. The effect, the quality, usage and method of use are same as T3 type .This type is used less.

T6 TYPE

T6 Stair tread also use belt ditch shape steel do protect nosing instead of decorative pattern plate . The effect, the quality, usage are the same as T4 Type. Due to apparence of the bar steel nosing not nicer than decorative pattern plate , so this Type is also used less.
