ISO 6925 Carpet Flammability Testing Equipment Used for Either Hot Metal Nut Test

Introduction:

The Flammability Tester is used to test the effects of a small source of ignition on floor coverings. It can be used for either the hot metal nut test (BS 4790) or the methenamine tablet test (ISO 6925 and BS 6307).

The test chamber is manufactured from non-combustible heat resistant board with a counter weighted sliding panel for easy access.

The mirror on top of the chamber allows the operator to view the specimens during the test.
