Mills Tour:

Step 1 - Coils

There are carbon steels that are going to be made into pipe and tube for you

Step 2 - uncoiler

The carbon steel coil is placed on the uncoiler

Step 3 - Leveler

The coil stock is leveled

Step 4 - butt welding

Connect the last coil to next coil to uninterrupted forming&sizing

Step 5 - Mill

Then it goes through a series of rolls that form the flat steel into pipe

Step 6 - Mill Rollers

Rolls form this size schedule into shape

Step 7 - Welder

An Electirc Resistance Welder Finishes the pipe or tube

Step 8 - Scarfer

The seam is “scarfed” to make the pipe or tube smooth all the way around.

Step 9 - Saw

the pipe and tube is sawed cut to length

Step 10 - Collecting

Finally, collecting pipes and tubes for packing
