Specification Of Rockwool Insulation Fasteners Perforated Insulation Pin For Ceilings & Walls:
Perforated Insulation Pin is designed for firmly impaling and installing various acoustic insulation materials in place on ceilings & walls.
The Perforated Insulation Pin is fabricated by a stainless steel or galvanized steel pin riveted on a stainless steel or galvanized steel or aluminum perforated base (2" x 2").
Perforated Insulation Pin is specifically designed for use with Pin Adhesive. The Pin Adhesive is applied to the back of the pin base and when the pin is pressed against a wall/ceiling, the adhesive will come through the penetrations creating a solid bond.
Once the pin is fastened or adhered, the insulation can be pierced onto the pin which is attached to the perforated base. A Self Locking Washer is then placed onto the pin to securely hold the insulation in place. The excess pin length can then be trimmed with cutters.
