Galvanized Steel Rock Wool Pins, also named metal expanded plug, rock wool insulation pins , inculation support and

wall anchor plug. it is made of galvanized steel tube with round washer base. the product techincal is stamped by CNC

machine with mould, then Iron pipe and base riveted together. insulation anchor pins is for fastening rigid insulation to

masonry. It is as simple as drilling straight through the insulation into the masonry and hammer the insulation fixing the

 mineralwool for external walls.

Application of the Rock Wool Pins

Rock Wool Pins is widely used in the construction and decoration, the anchoring aspect of the wall insulation house. It

consists of galvanized screws, nylon risers and fixed discs. According to the thickness of the insulation layer, it is divided

into various specifications. 

According to JG149-2003 external wall insulation standards
Single insulation nail load capacity >0.8KN
Thermal conductivity >0.004

they are suit for concrete, natural stone with dense structure, solid brick, solid sand-lime brick, solid block made from

lightweight concrete, aerated concrete, vertically perforated brick, perforated sand-lime brick etc.

How many rock wool pins in one square meter ?

The number of rock wool pins installed on the outer wall insulation system of the extrusion plate:
the average number for per  square meter :

6 rock wool pins  for 1-10 layers extrusion plate
7 rock wool pins  for 11-20 layers extrusion plate

9 rock wool pins for 21-26 layers extrusion plate

Any single piece larger than 0.1 square meter must be anchored according to shape and site conditions; the density of the

anchor should be increased around the sun's angle, under the mouth and at the edge of the hole. Not more than 300 mm

from the edge of the base. Not less than 60 mm
