Principle :
By vacuuming the vacuum chamber, the pressure difference inside and outside of the sample immersed in water was produced, and the gas inside the sample was observed to determine the sealing performance of the sample.By vacuuming the vacuum chamber, the pressure difference inside and outside of the sample was produced, and the shape recovery of the sample after expansion and release of the vacuum was observed to determine the sealing performance of the sample.

Test method :

According to GB/T 15171, to put a proper amount of distilled water in the vacuum chamber and then submerge it in the water.At this point, the distance between the top of the sample and the water surface shall not be less than 25 mm.Cover the sealed cover of the vacuum chamber and adjust to one of the following values: 20, 30, 50, 90 kPa, and keep the vacuum level at 30 s.The set vacuum value shall be determined according to the characteristics of the sample (such as packing materials used, sealing conditions, etc.) or in accordance with the relevant product standards.

During the test, attention should be paid to the leakage of the sample during the forming of vacuum and the maintenance of vacuum, and to observe whether there are continuous bubbles. Isolated bubbles are not regarded as leaks.The quality of packaging bags is measured by the measurement of sealing, and then the rationality of packaging technology is determined.
